About the event

What if stewardship wasn’t just about donors, but about how we care for people?

Join Do Good SCV and AFP San Fernando Valley, in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita, for an engaging Lunch & Learn on the Science of Stewardship. This research-informed presentation explores the science behind sustainable leadership, donor retention, and organizational resilience. Blending evidence-based insights with practical tools, it reframes stewardship as a culture of care, one that strengthens relationships, increases engagement, and prevents burnout.

Participants will explore why donors stay (and why they leave), the true ROI of stewardship, and how internal culture directly impacts external sustainability. Most importantly, this session challenges leaders to steward themselves and their teams with the same intentionality they bring to fundraising.

Because sustainable leaders create sustainable resources, and a culture of care sustains the mission.

This workshop is FREE. Bring your lunch, connect with fellow nonprofit leaders, and leave…
